It has come to my attention that a Mr.waijiaomeinv has been slandering myself and Miss Liu. My name is MichaelMackenzie and I own Michael’s Place in Sunny Block. Miss Liu is the manager ofmy coffee shop. In addition to Miss Liu I have employed from time to time manydifferent students from Chongqing Normal University where I taught for someyears. I created the coffee shop to create an environment for students to comemeet with foreigners, practice their English and attend some classes to improvetheir studies. I have not only taught students for some years but have spentmany hours outside the classroom helping students both in Chpogngqing but alsowhen they have travelled to study abroad. I have been coming to China for over30 years. I believe China will become the next superpower and I have alwaysenjoyed doing business with and teaching Chinese people. My only motive forbeing here is to help Chinese.
A number of students have brought to myattention that a Mr. waijiaomeinv has been posting slanderous and derogatoryinformation about me on the Internet. I have no idea why he would do this orwhat his motivation is. He also does not understand Chinese law aboutslandering people and causing them harm. I simply want to make clear toeveryone that all of his allegations is totally untrue. Miss Liu, nor any otherChinese girl has been my girlfriend. I have always lived alone over the yearsand do my business and teach. I have never had any student in my apartment. Imeet students in public places. For the past year my grandson has also beenliving with me from America.
Miss Liu comments posted on a public Internetsite is slanderous to both me and Miss Liu. He is obviously trying to damage myreputation. I understand this individual owns a training school and perhaps heis jealous that we teach English and have English Corner at Michael’s Place. Heis obviously trying to hurt me and my business. I want to make clear toeveryone that while I do not know his motive for his postings that are all madeup lies intended to damage my reputation. I intend to go find Mr waijiaomeinv andfind out why he has decided to do this. This is not right and my reputation isimportant to me. Miss Liu graduated from the University a couple of years agoand I gave her a full time job after interviewing a number of students. It isalso not fair to her to make up stories about her character. I am sure anystudent would not like to graduate only to have someone try to ruin theirreputation.

这么多年来，对我的学生们，我不只是教他们英语。在课堂外的时间，不管他们在重庆，还是已经出国，我都尽我所能帮助他们。
我到中国超过30年了，我相信中国会是下一个超级大国。我很喜欢跟中国人做生意，教中国人英语，我待在中国的唯一原因就是我想在这里帮助中国人。

“外教美女”先生在公共网络环境恶意造谣中伤我和刘小姐，他明显是想要毁掉我的名声。我了解到这个人拥有一家培训机构，也许他是嫉妒我教英语和我在“Michael’s English”开办的英语角。很明显，他是在打击我和我的生意。
我想向所有人声明：虽然我不知道“外教美女”先生编造这些谎言来伤害我的名声的动机，但是我会找到他，并且找出他这么做的原因。
他这么做是不对的，因为我的名声对我很重要。
刘小姐16年从重庆师范大学毕业，在面试过几个学生后，我聘请她作为店里的经理。编造谣言中伤刘小姐的品行，对她来说也是不公平的。我想任何学生如果知道工作后会被人这么中伤，他们都不会想要毕业。
